Drone Udyog Sahyog : Delhi Edition

The Drone Udyog Sahyog initiative, launched by the Drone Federation of India (DFI), was conceived as a multi-city industry engagement program to strengthen India’s drone manufacturing ecosystem by connecting OEMs, component manufacturers, and regional stakeholders. Planned across cities such as Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, the initiative focuses on fostering localized collaboration and supply-chain readiness. Aksi Aerospace Group had the opportunity to participate in the Delhi Edition, held on 31st October 2025 at R&I Park, IIT Delhi, which marked the first edition of Drone Udyog Sahyog and laid the foundation for future city-based engagements.
In today’s evolving industrial landscape, drones play a critical role across defense, logistics, agriculture, infrastructure, disaster management, and surveillance. With growing emphasis on indigenization, quality compliance, and supply-chain resilience, such platforms are essential for aligning industry capabilities with national priorities.
A notable session during the event was the panel discussion on Strengthening India’s Component Supply Chain, where Mr. Pankaj Akula, Founder and Chief Technologist of Aksi Aerospace Group, represented the company. He engaged with fellow CEOs and industry leaders, sharing thoughtful insights drawn from his experience in indigenous development, manufacturing challenges, and ecosystem collaboration.
The event also witnessed participation from defense and army personnel, who shared operational challenges and expectations for reliable indigenous drone technologies. As a company focused on purely indigenous solutions, Aksi Aerospace Group showcased its in-house designed and Indian-manufactured UAVs and components. The Delhi Edition delivered meaningful interactions, actionable feedback, and outcomes that will guide our roadmap and reinforce our contribution to India’s self-reliant drone ecosystem.
