Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with proven expertise in Zoho Books to manage the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end accounting processes, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and maintain compliance with statutory regulations. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of Zoho Books, including invoicing, expense tracking, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting
  • Record and verify day-to-day financial transactions with accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation
  • Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings (if applicable)
  • Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial operations and ensure data integrity across systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations
  • Hands-on expertise in Zoho Books is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with other financial management tools
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with other Zoho applications (e.g., Zoho CRM, Zoho Inventory, Zoho People)
  • Knowledge of Indian taxation, including GST, TDS, and compliance reporting
  • Ability to automate workflows and optimize accounting processes in Zoho Books
  • Exposure to financial data analysis and process improvement initiatives
